My girlfriend and I with Brian, Al, and Blondie at Tanglewood Park in MA on June 19th. The meet and greet process was very systematic, you give the guy in charge what you want signed, you walk up to stand behind them, they take your picture, next in line comes up. While standing there to have my picture taken, I said hi to Brian, but I don't think he heard me. Must've spoken in his bad ear! The both of us had the poster and "God Only Knows" song sheet signed by the three, but I've been kicking myself for deciding not to bring my SMiLE album to have signed! But overall, a fantastic day and one that I won't ever forget! I had the entire VIP experience, including the soundcheck rehearsal, the Meet and Greet, and of course the full concert. After the concert, I got to shake Al's hand and thank him, so that was pretty awesome. What an amazing day!

ReplyDeleteHi Scott: I mistakenly wrote on an older post, but I was wondering if you had considered doing an alternate version of "The Beach Boys In Concert" with tracks from the Sacramento 1964 and Chicago 1965 shows. It would greatly expand on the official release, and you did such a good job with the 1973 live album.
